A star with a golden yolk inspired sunset at it's heart!

Andrew Logan's Wearable Art is handcrafted and unique.  His brooches are statement pieces, with each bearing Andrew Logan’s signature and the date it was created.  Andrew Logan designed this star brooch, entitled SUNSET in late 2023. We hope this one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.

This sparkling brooch features a gorgeous piece of orange-red stained glass at it's centre. This is a gently textured piece of glass with much intrigue. Surrounding this, the six points of this star are created using fragments of red glass, golden and orange mirrored glass and some unusual pieces of hand-made shining orange glass. These are  laid over red resin which has been created into a star shape.  The piece is further embellished with a selection of tiny dazzling delights including a tiny orange bead, some bright orange squares of glass, and some tiny red-orange sparkling crystals. The edges of the resin are generously sprinkled with red and multicoloured glitter.

The vibrant brooch measures approximately 10 by 9 cm at its widest parts and weighs 35g.  It can be attached to your favourite item of clothing using a safety pin embedded in the reverse side.
